At AMPD we aim to be the standard bearer in the golf-fitness industry through constant innovation in the way golfers pursue perfection through amplified movement, accelerated recovery, and advanced performance. Every athlete who has found their way to AMPD Golf Performance possesses a desire to improve their quality of life and achieve their desires for their chosen sport, whatever they may be. Within the AMPD system, our performance coaches challenge each athlete to identify and define their performance goals resulting in a comprehensive game plan being developed.

Our menu of training options includes variety for every golfer. For those of you that want to bring a group, we have special private group assessment and training options as well.



AMPD PROCESS

When we ASSESS athletes, we typically uncover faulty movement patterns which equate to aches, discomforts and athletic inefficiencies. We know that the more athletes move with improper biomechanics, be that in life, sports, or specifically the golf swing, the more susceptible they are to injury. Therefore, post ASSESS, we restore the way athletes MOVE. Every workout and exercise is formulated based upon the assessment. There is no guess work in what we do. Each workout and individual movement pattern has a purpose, with the intention to unleash your potential. Once you, the athlete, move well, you graduate to the PERFORM phase, where we add speed, strength, and power to your customized programming, optimizing your performance. As you develop through your AMP phases, you evolve into a DYNAMIC ATHLETE.

 
At AMPD, you’ll find motivation and inspiration training in a team environment. Our 60 minute sessions are built utilizing training techniques refined over years of working with elite athletes and people like you. Whether it is our Movement Matters or Dynamic Circuit classes, you are sure to feel empowered as you see and feel the results.

Dynamic Circuit

Elevate your heart rate while developing dynamic movement patterns within the body. Increase your strength, endurance, agility, athleticism, and fat loss to optimize your performance in life and sport.

Movement Matters

Improve the way you move and reduce your risk of injury. Increase your mobility, stability, and posture through this series of functional and dynamic movements.

Jr. Foundations Class

It is essential that junior golfers have proper movement efficiency in order to take advantage of growth spurts and capture specific windows of opportunity for development, instead of letting those windows hinder their progress. Our Junior Foundations program will help juniors achieve proper bio-mechanics, and set the foundation to build a powerful and efficient swing. Juniors will be in control of their athleticism, allowing them to stay healthy, acquire skill development, and make a fluid transition into college golf.

The AMPlifieD Mobile App is designed to develop the athlete within each of us. Every program begins with our ASSESSMENT. This allows our team to craft an individualized plan to meet every athlete’s specific needs, while ensuring better MOVEMENT and PERFORMANCE towards any goal. AMPlifieD is the perfect solution for athletes on the go, who will be able train wherever and whenever is most convenient for them. Whether you are a male, female, junior, adult or professional athlete, the AMPlifieD Mobile App will unleash the DYNAMIC athlete inside of you!


Chelsea Burney

Performance Specialist

Chelsea majored in Exercise Science at Rogers State University in Oklahoma where she also played on the golf team. After graduating in 2016, Chelsea moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she had the opportunity to work with some of the best in his field at the prestigious EXOS as an intern.. From there many doors opened including working for Rogers State University as a golf and strength coach for the team. Since then Chelsea has merged her passion for fitness and golf, and is proud to call AMPD at Troon North home. Her areas of expertise are corrective training, sports conditioning, posture correction and post-rehabilitative training.

Assessment
 
Most people move with improper bio-mechanics on daily basis and don’t realize it. Training in the gym or playing sports with faulty movement patterns is an injury waiting to happen. At AMPD, our goal is to produce durable athletes that can move and perform to their potential. This process starts with getting properly assessed. Our Movement Assessment will identify exactly where an athlete is at greatest risk for injury, as well as identifying the true cause of any current ailment they might be suffering from. Once an athlete is assessed, we are able to craft a customized training program that will reestablish proper movement patters, alleviate aches, and increase performance.

Cost: $150

Time: Appx. 1 hour
 
 
Personalized Training
 
At AMPD, we believe that every athlete should have access to the same training platform as our tour players. Personalized Training is an excellent option for clients who prefer individualized programming in an exclusive group of 1-3 athletes per coach. This small-group setting helps elicit greater responses, promotes healthy competition and adds an extra layer of accountability. Every training session is customized based on each athlete’s Personalized Assessment, goals, tournament schedule, swing coach input, and how they are feeling that day. This unified approach produces RESULTS.

Cost: $110
